Comments: Champion was on my street removing two trees so I asked Aaron for a quote on removing a large dead oak tree in my backyard. He gave me an estimate the same day which was very competitive. When I hired him he came when he said he would and stayed in contact with me. He later came back and removed the stump. The work he did was great and I would definitely hire him again. If you have a tree(s) needing to be cut down, call Champion for sure.

Comments: Woke this morning to a very large branch that had fallen from our tree across the fence to the neighboring church parking lot. Called Champion Tree Care and the owner was there within an hour. After a quick inspection and what I felt was a more than fair quote, he had a crew of 5 there with chainsaws buzzing, climbing the tree and swinging from their safety ropes trimming off not only the rest of fallen branch I called about but also some other branches that needed attention that they saw. My wife and I were quite amazed at their coordination and efficiency. Very glad we decided to let the professionals handle it instead of attempting the dangerous work ourselves. They were also very considerate to clean up everything, pretty sure they even cleaned some branches off the lawn that already just happened to be there. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Comments: Scheduling and planning the work was very collaborative. It took a few different calls, but in the end it was scheduled based on what worked best for me. The guys only had one Sunday job and it was me. They would normally like to have several jobs if they are going to work on a Sunday (which I understand). The 2 guys that came to do the work were excellent. It started pouring rain right when they arrived, and poured on them the entire time they were working. Once the work was done, the rain stopped. Throughout the entire job, they maintained a great attitude and did not seem to rush the work or sacrifice the quality at all. The price remained on the lower end of the estimate.

Comments: We had several companies give us a quote for the job we wanted done. We had 2 trees that we wanted removed, 1 medium sized and a huge 80+ ft tree that hung over our home with power lines running through it. When Aaron came out to give us a quote, he was confident and excited about the job. His experience, thorough explanation of what he would do, and the awesome reviews are what made us decide to hire Champion. Aaron and his crew did a phenomenal job. Comments: Wow and Wow. Champion tree service just blew me away. I had over 20 estimates to get two large trees cut down and they beat everyone's price. Aaron called me the night before to make sure everything was ready to go. He arrived at 9:00 A.M. and was done at 4:30 exactly like he told us. Just to watch him climb that tree and cut it down was something to see. He has an awesome respectful crew. He is Licensed and Insured and he is a true professional. They responded to my home advisor inquiry within an hour to come give an estimate. They were all booked for the rest of the week we had available for them to come do the work but finished another job early and within about 4 hours of me putting in an inquiry, the owner Aaron and his team came out to do the work. It came down in pieces via control ropes to the ground. You could tell that they knew that they were doing by the placement of the crew on the ground and how they worked together. They took it down today rather than yesterday due a concern over strong wind. I had 2 phone calls after I signed the work order for scheduling. They arrived on time as promised .

Comments: Great company they came with one day notice we were installing a fence and the fence company would not commit to a date but when they did we needed to react quickly with shrub removal and Champion answered that call with one day notice and it's like they made these 13' yews along a property line disappear. Comments: I would rate Champion tree service higher if HomeAdvisor would allow it. My neighbor used Champion when a storm blew through the neighborhood a couple of months ago. They needed help quickly and Champion showed up and took care of them which led my neighbors to refer them to me. I hired Champion Tree Service to remove two trees and trim three others. I called Aaron who quickly came out and to provide me with a more than fair quote for the services I needed. We scheduled the job for a week later because that is what worked for me. Aaron and his crew were on time and were completely professional with the entire process. The trimmed trees looked great and the two trees that were taken down without any problems whatsoever. I was very impressed with the way the crew cleaned up after the job. You wouldn't even know that they were there aside from my trimmed trees looking great. I will definitely use Champion Tree Service again when I need to and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tree service that is professional in every way.

Comments: We hired Champion to trim our trees last year, knowing one dangerous one would need to be removed. They did a great job then, but we still wanted to shop for the actual removal since we were short on funds and the tree was massive. Erin was out the same day to price it out and even texted me while I worked so we could get it done ASAP. The crew was clean, respectful, and exactly on time. My only complaint is that the wood was not cut down to a size that my husband or I could move easily in any way. I will absolutely not be shopping around anymore for my tree service. Thank you!

Comments: I needed branches cleared that overhung a solar array. Champion removed the branches without so much as a twig falling on any of the panels and even made sure to remove any sawdust that may have fallen on the panels with a blower. Champion also went above and beyond by removing several three- to four diameter dead branches high up on another tree that could have posed a danger to someone on the ground. Now I have max sun on the solar panels, a safe yard, and trees that look really good. Champion was the second lowest bidder of the five bids I took. But I had a good feeling about the company after its representative came to the house for the estimate. He knew what I needed without me needing to say much and suggested improvements that I would never have thought of. I was impressed by his knowledge and enthusiasm. The company also made sure to keep me informed as to the schedule. When rain forced a delay in the original date, a Friday, a representative called to tell me that the company would do the job Saturday and gave me a specific time when it would show up. I even got a reminder call Friday night. Sure enough, the company showed up at the appointed time. Now, that's service.

They cut down the tree and took some extra tree limbs that I had and had the whole tree removed in about an hour with a full crew. Comments: They did an excellent job cutting the tree down and cleaning up after themselves, but they had some oddities with their customer service. First, the work is done and I never signed a contract or quote or any paperwork yet. Not even for payment though I am sure they will be out to collect at some point. Second, I got phone calls from the company saying when they where coming out and then when they got there they never rang the doorbell to tell me they where there. They actually had one guy peering in the windows to see if anyone was home. Very creepy. Third they cleaned up every stick twig and branch from the yard but left their pizza boxes from lunch. no big deal but if you are going through and cleaning everything why not your own trash. Lastly, someone brought their dog with them for part of the job. I like dogs but it just was odd you don't normally see this on a job site. Overall the price was competitive and the work they did was excellent.

After getting a couple quotes, we decided to go with Chamption Tree Service because not only did they have the best price, but the owner seemed to be a very genuine person. We got scheduled for the job and they showed up on time and were able to cut down the tree and clean up the yard much faster than we expected. They cleaned up the yard so well after the tree was cut that it actually looked better than before they started. We were very pleased. They returned a couple days later to grind the stump. Comments: I hired Champion Tree Care, and couldn't be happier! The owner, Aaron, called me himself and came out the same day to give me an estimate. Within two days, he came out to do the project. He is extremely pleasant, professional, courteous, and personable. He came with some of his workers and they made quick work out of it. What I was impressed with was his ability to work with the workers, motivate them, talk to them politely.......and at the same time he was instructing and guiding them in how to perform the service on their own crews one day. This is a rarity! He made a scraggly tree with a lot of dead areas come alive again. It looks so nice and I know it is healthier now. I was planning on bundling up the branches and then hauling them out to the curb on our trash day (as I live in a condo, and can't leave it out). He said not to worry about it, and he ground them up with the chipper so I didn't have to manage that on my own. Everything was swept up, and there was no mess left at all. His company, and workers are impressive. I would hire them again with no reservations. You won't be sorry by having them do your projects!

Let me preface this review in that the quality of work, communication and follow thru were EXCELLENT, no doubt about it but what I thought was outstanding and noteworthy was that we encountered what I would call a "grey area" in the scope of work (long story, doesn't matter) and he handled it so professionally and worked with me to come to a resolution quickly and with complete integrity. This to me is a key measure of a man and also a business. Its easy when everything is butterflies and sunshine but how one acts when things don't go exactly as planned is when you see someones true colors. Comments: I called several tree removal services, but Aaron, owner of Champion Tree Care, came out immediately, left me a quote, and followed up with phone calls to answer questions. His communication skills are excellent. He and his crew had to remove an enormous red oak, the only 2 limbs left on the tree hung completely over my 2-story home on a street where 17 similar oaks came down in high winds! It looked like a precarious job, but Aaron climbed the tree, and section by section removed it, taking care not to hit my roof or brick home. They cleaned both my yard and the neighbor's yards of debris and loaded the wood for removal. My neighbors were so impressed that several hired him on the spot! He's honest, hard working and reasonably priced! It was a great day, sparking a neighborhood party in honor of spring, safe tree removal and good neighbors! Yes, hire him!!
